St. Louis Federal Reserve President to Speak at Quarterly Business Analysis

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- The Center for Business and Economic Research in the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas is partnering with the Northwest Arkansas Chambers of Commerce to host a Quarterly Business Analysis breakfast at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday, June 4. The breakfast event will be at the Embassy Suites Northwest Arkansas, 3303 Pinnacle Hills Parkway, Rogers, Ark.

Strong Relationships Increase Commitment of Information-Technology Personnel in Public Sector

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – In one of the first studies to focus specifically on state government information-technology personnel, researchers at the University of Arkansas found that key interpersonal relationships – both mentoring and different types of exchanges between supervisors and subordinates – have a major impact on employees’ commitment to an organization.

Infor Donates Supply Chain Network Design Software to University of Arkansas

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Georgia-based software provider, Infor, has donated software licenses for Infor SCM Network Design, a supply chain planning and analysis software used by some of the world's most recognizable companies, to the University of Arkansas. Infor SCM Network Design will be implemented by the Supply Chain Management Research Center in the Sam M. Walton College of Business, as part of its ongoing research into supply chain management.
