FOR RELEASE: Saturday, February 16, 2008
Business Career Fair on Tuesday, Feb. 19 The Business Career Fair will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb, 19, in Willard J. Walker Hall. All students are invited. The Business Career Fair is like "one-stop shopping" for career networkers. It is a one-day event in which numerous employers provide information about jobs at their companies while visiting with interested and curious students. Each employer and organization will have a booth or display table, and they may share company literature with you, as well as company branded giveaways. Employer representatives meet with students to answer questions, as well as ask questions about your interests. A career fair is a convenient and economical way for employers and potential employees to meet. Attire should be business casual at a minimum for the Business Career Fair. Students can bring numerous copies of their resumes to the fair to give to the employers. For more information, the Business Career Fair has a list of company attendees. The Business Career Fair is sponsored by the Sam M. Walton College of Business Career Center, the Center for Retailing Excellence, the Supply Chain Management Research Center and the Information Technology Research Institute. |
