Global Supply Chain Key Topic at Logistics Conference FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Supply Chain Management Research Center in the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas is sponsoring a one-day conference for the supply chain/logistics industry: “Sourcing and New Market Development in the Global Supply Chain.” The conference will be from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 23, at the Embassy Suites Hotel, Rogers, Ark. This conference is co-hosted by the Ozark Roundtable of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals with facility sponsor Transplace. The conference brings together global retail, consumer products and goods companies and leading third-party practitioners from around the world. The conference facility sponsor, Transplace, is holding its annual Shipper Symposium in conjunction with the supply chain/logistics conference. The Transplace event, held at the John Q.
