UA Walton College Holds TECHNOLOGY Awareness Program for High School Students

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. ñ The Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas is holding the Technology Awareness Program (TAP). The program is tailored to bridge the digital divide faced by minority students, including African Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanic Americans, and Native Americans. Students learned how to incorporate technology into all aspects of their work as they develop their research, teamwork, communication, and oral presentation skills. TAP also promotes business and economic education for these students. Each day, students had the opportunity to visit with top professionals involved in the role of technology and its effect on the global economy.
