UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS TO RELEASE 2010 COMMISSION'S SECOND REPORT PICKING UP THE PACE

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The second report from the 2010 Commission, Picking Up the Pace, will be released at a press conference Tuesday, March 2, 2004. The new report analyzes progress made since the Commission's initial report, Making the Case, which was released in August 2001.

The 2010 Commission, a group of more than 90 business, education and government professionals, was created to develop a plan for the University of Arkansas for the first decade of the 21^st century-a plan to help bring Arkansas to greater economic and educational strength among the states. Atty. Gen. Mike Beebe, Chancellor John A. White and Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Bob Smith will be available for comment.
