UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA PROFESSOR TO PRESENT PAPER AT UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS SCHOOL OF LAW

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The Hartman Hotz Lecture Series in law and liberal arts in conjunction with the University of Arkansas School of Law will present professor Edward Imwinkelried from the University of California at Davis at 3:30 p.m., Monday, March 4, in Room 325 of the Leflar Law Center.

He will present his paper titled, The Historical Cycle in the Law of Evidentiary Privileges: Will Instrumentalism Come Into Conflict with the Modern Humanistic Theories? The public is invited to attend.

He is the director of Trial Advocacy at the University of California at Davis, and one of the country's leading authorities on the law of evidence. He is the author of numerous works on evidence law, including a leading treatise on the increasingly important topic of scientific evidence.
