UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS TO MAKE ANNOUNCEMENT OF EPIC PROPORTIONS

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - University of Arkansas officials will make an announcement of epic proportions regarding the Campaign for the Twenty-First Century and the future of the institution. The announcement will be made at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 11, in the Connections Lounge of the Arkansas Union.

Speakers will include:

B. Alan Sugg, president of the University of Arkansas System
Bill Clark, chairman of the University of Arkansas Board of Trustees
John A. White, chancellor, University of Arkansas
G. David Gearhart, vice chancellor for University Advancement
Tommy Boyer, owner and CEO Micro Images of Amarillo, Texas, and presiding chairman of the Campaign for the Twenty-First Century
A news conference will be held immediately following the announcement in the Lewis Epley Board Room, Arkansas Union 504. A mult-box will be provided in the Connections Lounge and in the Epley Board Room for broadcast media.
