NATIONAL BASEBALL HALL OF FAME PRESIDENT TO SPEAK AT WALTON COLLEGE

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Dale A. Petroskey, president of the National Baseball Hall of Fame, will speak at the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 19.

The presentation will take place in the Donald W. Reynolds Center for Enterprise Development auditorium, with parking available in the parking garage on Stadium Drive, next to the Arkansas Union. Students, faculty, staff and the public are invited.

Petroskey was named president of the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1999. Prior to then, he was senior vice president for Mission Programs for the National Geographic Society, where he served 11 years. He was previously assistant secretary of public affairs at the U.S. Department of Transportation, serving as Elizabeth Dole's senior spokesperson.

He has also served in the White House as assistant press secretary to President Ronald Reagan from 1985 to 1987. He is a 1978 graduate of Michigan State University.

Petroskey will be available for photo and interview opportunities after the presentation.
