Robert Redford Press Conference Announced

Award-winning actor, director and environmentalist Robert Redford has been named as the spring 2005 Distinguished Lecturer at the University of Arkansas.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Award-winning actor, director and environmentalist Robert Redford has been named as the spring 2005 Distinguished Lecturer at the University of Arkansas. His address will take place at 8 p.m. Thursday, May 5 in Barnhill Arena. The event is sponsored by the Associated Student Government and paid for by student fees. Admission is free, and the university community, public and media are invited to attend.

Prior to Redford's address, a press conference will take place at 5:50 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center Gallery, located in the Fine Arts Center. Media parking is available in the parking deck, accessible from Stadium Drive. An audio mult-box will be provided for electronic media.
