Media Advisory - U of A Classmates of the 'Nifty Fifties' Reunite

The Arkansas Alumni Association has announced the final schedule of events surrounding the Classes of 1952-1957 Reunion to be held May 20-22.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The Arkansas Alumni Association has announced the final schedule of events surrounding the Classes of 1952-1957 Reunion to be held May 20-22.

"With over 250 former classmates and guests registered to attend, we're expecting a wonderful crowd," said Debbie Clark, events coordinator for the Arkansas Alumni Association. "We'll kick everything off with a 'Nifty-Fifties' party Friday evening at the Janelle Y. Hembree Alumni House on the UA campus."

Other events will be staged at the Clarion Inn and the Inn at Carnall Hall and will include bus tours, photo sessions, meals and a two farewell brunches on Sunday.

5:30 p.m.-8 p.m. Nifty Fifties Party

Saturday, May 21, 2005
9:30 a.m.-Noon. Bus tour

5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. Photo sessions (each graduating year)

6:30 p.m.-10 p.m. Dinner
