GIFT REPRESENTS UA ALUMNI EMPLOYED BY FARMERS INSURANCE GROUP

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The Farmers Insurance Group, Inc. has shown its support for education at the University of Arkansas in the form of a cash gift representing its employees that are UA graduates.

The gift amount to the U of A totals $770, and is based on the total number of UA alumni employed for a minimum of four years by a member company of the Farmers Insurance Group. The gift is designated for use to establish tuition scholarships in the fields of insurance, mathematics, business administration, personnel and other areas related to the insurance industry.

The program, officially called the Aid to Education Program, was established to recognize the outstanding job colleges and universities do to prepare students.

"Continuing our practice of many years, we are pleased to make a cash contribution to those institutions whose graduates serve our company and policyholders so well," said Martin Feinstein, chief executive officer.
