IGLINSKI AND SCHOPPMEYER NAMED AS EMERITUS PROFESSORS

Dr. Clyde Iglinsky and Dr. Martin Schoppmeyer were both named Emeritus professors following their retirement this summer from the College of Education & Health Professions at the University of Arkansas.

Dr. Iglinsky joined the University in 1989 as Director of Admissions and was appointed as an assistant professor of Educational Foundation in the College of Education & Health Professions in 1992. His retirement was effective at the close of the academic year, 1999. Dr. Iglinsky holds a M.Ed. from Stephen Austin State University and a Ph.D from East Texas State University.

Dr. Martin Schoppmeyer has been a University of Arkansas faculty member since 1968, serving as a professor of Educational Administration in the College of Education and Health Professions for more than three decades. Dr. Schoppmeyer received his M.Ed. and his Ed.D. at the University of Florida. His retirement was effective at the end of the academic year, 1999.

"Our students shall miss you as great teachers and we will miss your many other contributions as dedicated faculty members and colleagues," said University of Arkansas President Alan Sugg in a letter to the retiring professors.
