UA SIFE to Teach Business Ethics

Students In Free Enterprise will teach the basics of business ethics in a evening event for area third, fourth and fifth graders.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The University of Arkansas Students In Free Enterprise will present "Ethics-Palooza," a business ethics course on Jan. 26 at the Donald W. Reynolds Center for Enterprise Development in the Sam M. Walton College of Business.

The evening event, sponsored by Ocean Spray Cranberries Inc., is designed to teach the basics of business ethics and their importance to an audience of third-, fourth-, and fifth-grade students. The area of business ethics is of growing concern, and instilling these principles at a young age is vital.

The event will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. SIFE will provide dinner for the students. E-mail the project coordinator, Stephanie Bond, at sbond@uark.edu to register in advance.
